Volunteer Opportunities
ACTS OF COMPASSION HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE LIVES
Volunteer Program Disclosure:
Volunteers play a vital role in enabling Family Promise of Hall County (FPHC) to fulfill its mission. With a small staff, it would be near impossible to support the community through the variety of programs and services we do without the help of volunteers.
FPHC prides itself on providing a Volunteer Program of reciprocity; it strengthens a volunteer’s sense of value, stimulates personal growth, and expands empathy through empowering service opportunities all while providing programs and services of the highest quality for underserved populations in the community.
FPHC believes wholeheartedly in transparency, and that includes our Volunteer Program. We believe that when we all communicate open and honestly about our expectations, time, and needs, we spend less time guessing and more time feeling valued and effectively serving our community.

While there are many different types of volunteer opportunities at FPHC, there are unfortunately not an endless number of positions available. Additionally, we are fortunate to experience a lot of interest in volunteering with FPHC.

As such, we ask those interested to submit a Volunteer Application and schedule a Volunteer Informational Interview with the Volunteer Manager to first determine if your passions, interests, and skill-set are a good fit for FPHC's current and near-future volunteer needs.

If it’s determined that you’re a good fit, you will then need to complete a Volunteer Information Form, our online training Volunteer 101 and Volunteer 102 through Coassemble, and any additional training relevant to the specific volunteer position(s). This includes a background check for positions in the daycare and those working closely with families.
